Review: Warbotanicals Rose Damask Hand Cream
Warbotanicals is one of the latest handcrafted natural brands from Australia available now in Singapore. Founded by qualified naturopath Donna Fowler, every Warbotanicals product is made with her partner Richard from their home in Yarra Valley, Australia.
Launch mid 2014, the Rose Damask Hand Cream is one of their newest product. Made with 20% organic shea butter, this hand cream is thick, rich and nourishing. It is blended with coconut oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and rose damask oil.
For a rose scent fanatic with dry hands, you gotta try this. The hand cream contains a natural yet distinct rose scent that lingers. Personally, the hand cream is a little too rich for my liking. After applying it to my hands, I immediately picked up my mobile phone which left fingerprints on my screen. You don’t need a lot of product for application. A small amount (like the size of a 5cent coin) will go a long way. It does take a while for the cream to completely settle and get absorbed into the skin. Having said that, people with dry hands would greatly appreciate the cream’s richness. The smoothness of the cream stays on the skin for quite a long time, even after a couple of hand washes.
The dark amber glass container makes the product feel substantial. Probably not good for traveling but a nice jar to have on your desk at the office or on your bedside table at home. It cost $36 per jar and will last you a very long time. The product’s expiry is printed on a sticker found underneath the bottle including the batch number and every Warbotanicals product carries a security seal to ensure the product’s freshness.
Warbotanical products are formulated with 100% natural ingredients and do not contain parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and synthetic fragrances.
Retail price: $36 per 120g jar. Available in Singapore at Warbotanicals.sg. Right now, they are having a 20% storewide sale until 31 January 2015. Good time to stock up.
