Korres Wild Rose Launch Event

Roses are red. (hum…not always true).

According to ancient Greek mythology, roses used to be white. It was not until Aphrodite, goddess of love & beauty, who, at a moment’s haste to save her dying protege Adnois, pricked herself from a rose’s torn and stained its white petals with blood.

Since then, roses have been regarded as Aphrodite’s flowers, and used to symbolize regeneration. It is also the start of KORRES exciting *new* natural skin care range – Wild Rose.

No longer at ION Orchard, KORRES is now at Raffles City Shopping Mall, Basement 2 (#B2-16).

I was extremely excited to be invited to this launch because I love love love the Wild Rose range. I have been using a couple of the Wild Rose products, and they are amazing. And this was the official launch of 3 new additions: Wild Rose Exfoliating Cleanser, Wild Rose 24hr Moisturizing and Brightening Cream & Wild Rose Eye Cream with SPF15.

Wild Rose oil, the main ingredient in the range, is rich in linoleic and linolenic acid, and contains high vitamin C levels. Linoleic and linolenic acid aid in significant healing, moisturizing, softening and protecting of the skin’s epidermis layer. Vitamin C drives significant regeneration and repair activity to fine lines and skin color disorders. These are the main drivers of this product range.

I have been on the waiting list for the Wild Rose Eye Cream for many months, and was over the moon when I found a complimentary full bottle in my gift bag!

Nita & me

Next time you are at Raffles City, pop into KORRES and check it out for yourself. All KORRES sales girls that work at the store are super friendly and knowledgeable. Best part? They are not pushy. That’s what I love most about this brand and its people. If in doubt, ask for Nita 😉 She’s my favorite friendly KORRES sales assistant whom I bug shamelessly whenever I visit.
