Secret Unveiled #1: Cleanse Hair With Your Drink
Despite her tendency to switch between many shades of red and blonde, Nicole’s thick and luscious crowning glory is always kept immaculately shiny, radiant and well-polished. Her secret: Just open the fridge and pick your drink. ‘If you got red hair, try washing it in cranberry juice. And if you’re blonde, a champagne rinse can work wonders’ she says. How bazaar.

Is this true? Apparently so. The high concentrated acidity of cranberry juice actually helps to seal hair cuticles and lock in shine. It also helps to strengthen the hair strand, giving it an all-round softer texture.

Basically, you want to use cranberry juice as the final rinse in the shower. After washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner, pour a cup of cranberry juice over your head and gently massage the juice into your hair. Leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse off. Similarly, for brunettes and Asians with darker hair shades, you can use black coffee or tea.

Secret Unveiled #2: Eat Organic
Since her cancer scare, Nicole only eats organic. She is afraid of pesticides and keeps on a strict organic-only diet. Due to her age and having a young child, keeping good and healthy nutrition habits is extremely important to her. ‘I try to eat well, only organic food: salads and fish. Sometimes pasta, but I’m no friend to food with high fat content‘. Speaking of food, Nicole also eats in small portions several times a day.

Having grown up in The Land Down Under, Nicole has a special relationship with water. She loves to swim and commits to daily pool laps for half an hour. ‘It is the best way to keep the body in good shape’ she says.
